So one of our first projects in the new shop is a 31 roadster...Its going to be a pretty neat car I think.... channeled two inches, anti-sectioned two inches... should have a bit of a 32 feel.

It will be early Olds powered and I guess late fifties styled.

    I think it belongs here?

Anyway heres some pictures of whats been happening... I'll keep updating as we go.... I'm excited about this one!

Love the look of these cars. I've never been a fan of the chassis hanging from the spring instead of riding on top of it, but I guess it's working. Looking good guys.

Gonna be cool, that frame is tuff. What does anti sectioned mean? You added 2" of material to the height of the body?
    thanks

Dig the backing plates. I suggest digging that shiny new front axle for a OG heavy.

Yeah the front axle is the only new part on the front.... batwings etc are all hand made.... hairpins are modified....... the wheels are just mock up right now! thanks guys!

This car is going to get some very special sheet metal work.... will push the limits of tradition.... but when done people will wonder when it was built and where it was found!... I hope anyway!

I know. You always have the coolest mock-ups because you have enough cool stuff laying around to use for that..

Killer. Chassis work is top notch and I love the olds power plant.

Anyone ever just try plating the ends of a super bell just to give it some character. I'm not sure if they even can.

    Anyways keep it up!

The rear spring hanger/mount appears to be ride height adjustable. Would you give us a couple of more shots of this idea? Kinda hard to get perspective on the closeup shot. Old eyes aren't what they used to be. Thanks

This is awesome, can't wait to see more of the build. Chassis work is sick, I like your hairpins a lot. Keep up the great work!

I'd like to know that as well. Maybe it'll have rockers under the doors? Looking forward to seeing more of this.

very cool! I've heard of guys putting all the lower patch panels 2" lower to give the body a taller/more channeled look....
