Pulled an old m/c and booster today from the back yard. Knew the m/c was bad. When I tipped the booster downward to look into the pedal end of the rod into booster, brake fluid ran outa the vacuum hose hole, apparently blasted in by the bad m/c. There was no external drainage of this fluid, just when I dumped it forward. It's also a dual chamber 3/4ton truck booster.

Think it's Any Good anymore, or a waste of time to bolt up and check?

might still work. if the cylinder went, and allowed fluid to leak around in there, it would probably fill the booster where it leaked around the shaft, hell, it can't hurt to try it.

Sure enuff... Can't hurt to bolt it up and run around the yard I guess, what'll I be out? An extra few minutes to change it again?! Or $40+whatever to replace? Try it I will...soon as I get the beiiatch rewired too...
