Lusted after nailhead bought. Now what?

    I was helping a guy clean out an old shop on monday and there was a 401 nailhead w/4bbl carb sitting in the corner not sure of all the specs but everything was there tranny alternator the whole nine yards there was alot of motors 283,327,425caddy,a small gm marine 4 banger just way to much shit for one man but I really enjoyed seeing the stuff:D

    Most everything T/A sells is geared towards the 401/425, a lot will work on the 364 but not all.

    Join the yahoo Nailhead group.

    Tom is on here as well and on the yahoo group, as is Russ Martin.

    Old school Nailhead guru, been around forever.

    No need for stage 3 Gessler's unless you're building a race motor IMHO.

    And if you do a search for Eelco and Northwest speed here and on the net you'll probably not want to give the guy that owns them your money.
     
  4. Didn't know that anyone built a bellhousing to switch nailhead starters like were done for Olds and Pontiacs. Does anyone build trans adaptor that flips the starter from the stock location?

    Quick Time makes an SFI bell for the NailHead. Kinda pricey, but considering it's a very low volume item feel it's in the ballpark.
