Lowering My New Old 51Chevy Deluxe

1951 chevy deluxe 2 door fastback..Got it last Sunday. Has a rebuilt 57 strait 6... need a few things. Im gonna slam it and strip the interior out... Can anyone hip me on how to lower the rear. I dont have the cash to bag it....It has leave springs. I also have to set up a charging system .. I have the generator..but nothing else.. I also need to convert to 12 volt.... any help would be great...Thank you... pics to follow..

 

A 51 Chevy Deluxe with a straight 8!!??

The cheapest way to lower it would be blocks in the rear but I'm not sure if that would be considered "slammed". You'll need some $$$ to properly lower the car much more than that.

cut 2 springs . lowering block , cut rubber nubs ... ride.
