I was free this last Saturday and my buddy called asking if he could come over and lower his 55. Nothing I'd rather do on a free day (besides chase my old lady around). We took 2 coils out of the front and blocks in the rear. He didn't want anything drastic so we took it easy.

Don't be jealous of the side view mirrors either!

looks good! you'll only have to put half a coil back in when the radiator, hood etc are back on the car :)

    (ask me how I know)

    Let's hear the story, Squirrel.

We weighed the front down to simulate the weight of the hood and cooling system before we cut.

Might be ok, you'll have to see how it goes. The springs seem to settle after a while. I found another set of springs and cut just a bit less out of them, to keep from bottoming out when driving on the nice roads around here.

I was house hunting in your area last summer in my wife's Dodge Magnum with 22's (background of the 1st pic), and it ended up being an offroad event on the roads of Hereford. I feel for you!

I love tri-five chevy's. After my 52' is up to snuff im going to sell it. A tri-five is one of the cars i'll be searching for in my price range. Of course im always changing my mind.
