low radiator - in front of axle ?

    ...a very cool (haha) solution. From your pic, I can't understand the shape of the lower tank with the outlet above the crossmember, if the bottom of the tank is 6" below the frame. Is the core shortened on the one side to allow the outlet to be located higher on the rad? Or is there some kind of metal/magic voodoo going on? My Flattie needs something like this....thx

    I am doing the same thing and glad to see some help here..
    At this stage I just have the radiator mocked up in place..

  3. It's metal magic voodoo !
    If you look close you can see the shroud is cut around the lower hose outlet. There is a fabricated rectangle tube that has the hose bib one one end and the other goes to bottom tank. The shroud then makes it all flush.

    The shape of the bottom tank follows the shape of the 34 truck grille.
    And still has 6" ground clearance.
