Just came across your post and want to say I'm sorry for the loss of your beautiful wife. Stormin Norman1 said it best... your kids do need you more than ever now, and you will make it together. God bless.

My condolences brother and prayers for you and your family. My ex wife passed away 2 years who I had 2 daughters with. My advice to you is hug and kiss and love your babies every day and tell them what they mean to you. Never let them forget how she felt about them. They're going to need that more than you might think. God bless you.

The only thing in my life I've been through that's even close is that my wife and I had a miscarriage when our oldest son was 2. The hurt would just not go away. My little brother said something I'll always hold on to. "God doesn't make mistakes." We may not always know why or agree with them, but that sure was somewhat of a comfort to me. Don't know what we would have done if we didn't have our son to make it through. And we would have never had our second son without going through this. As others have said, hold onto your kids. You need them as much as they need you. As you said, you'll get through this. Won't be easy, but down the line you may be able to help someone else out that is going through the same thing. My wife and I have talked to some couples that went through the same thing we did. It just seemed to help those people know that they're not alone. Obviously, there are 25 pages (so far) of people that care about you and your family. Hold onto that support and may God bless you, your children, and your friends and family.
  8. Gosh im so sorry to read this. My heart goes out to you and the children. I just pray that you have close family and friends for support, sufficient faith to help you remain strong and plenty of love, patience and understanding to give to those children. They are going to need it. This is a devastating thing for kids to go through.
Thoughts and prayers are with you man.
  9. I can't even imagine what you are going though. Keep your chin up, and bless you and your kids.

I don't know what I would do if I lost my wife/best friend. I pray that when my time is done, that it's me who goes first because I can't fathom the pain I would go through and the pain you must be in. My heart and prayers go out to you, be strong, focus on your kids, and know that her pain is over.
