alright, my buddy and i headed out last tuesday, and stopped in PHX to visit my family and spend the night. we headed out at 3 am and drove from PHX into Harper around 1:30am for a full day of driving and slept the night their, my ranchero ran flawless! only thing was about an hour into harper a crazy truck driver was playing with me and swerved into me a few times and even locked his brakes on me on purpose! here's some road pics... to view all my coverage pics here's my Photobucket link... http://s89.photobucket.com/albums/k231/raunchero/Lonestar Roundup 09/ Somewhere in NM Almost their!! We exited 5th st. and cruised through Downtown Austin We cruised down Congress by the Continental Club and nothing was going on, just a lonely merc sitting outfront, so i decided to try and take a look at A.S.S. to kill some time... We heard their was a car wash later in the day at A.S.S. so we left for a bit to get the bugs and road grime cleaned up, after we scoped out the city... checked into a room, we thought we'd keep it on the cheap and soon found out not so good of an idea... We came back later that night and found a couple of tiny creatures their to greet us, i slept in my clothes and used my jacket as a pillow that night and checked out ASAP either way back at A.S.S. the girls doing their thing! they made you drop your donation into this rad old VANS skate! and offered up hot dogs with your car wash!
After the carwash we headed over to Congress to see what was going on... walked into the Art Gallery and saw a bearded man i've seen many pics of here on the HAMB and introduced myself to BobK, nice guy! back on the streets..

haha.. congrats on doin that drive in one piece . that is a long ass drive . i know i have done it . that is a strays car right ? or do i have it confused ? any more pics of it ? i just sold one of those and that makes me wish i had kept it . oh well still might get to paint it in th future .

the Blue 53/54 Chevy? yes it is a Strays Car, his tag said Roger, heard he moved to TX recently and still runs his STRAYS C.C. stuff but runs with Los Cochinos C.C. now that he is relocated
Ohhhhh,i don't know who he runs with. i was in San Diego about 2 months ago and saw it parked at night in the Gaslamp District, i've never seen that car around before until then. then i saw it parked on Congress this past weekend in Austin.
I posted pics of the 63 on my austin pics thread,,, wondering if anyone knew anything more about it. i DO know that it was recently bought and brought from San Diego to Dallas,,, like in the last two weeks? Its really,,, really pretty,,,, xoxox miss hootch
