Looking for W & H DuPoint Distributor I.D. ??

Part number on the tag is D51HB.

Only numbers like that in an old catalog I have are for 2 DuCoil Distributors
D51C 55-62 PONTIAC V8
D51CI 1958 PONTIAC V8 W/ FUEL INJECTION

Any of the DuCoil part numbers that began with a D were for GM engines

Good luck finding caps and rotors for Du Coils. They bring very high prices on ebay. I think there are some non Du-Coil brand points you can get that fit them (some Mr Gasket branded older points fit them). A couple of people have talked about re-popping the caps, but as far as I know, no one has stepped up with the money yet.

 

I do have the cap and rotor for this. Everything is unused, to bad it's not for a more disirable engine.

And it's just a DuPoint not a DuCoil also.

 

We can make the base fit what ever you wish , as long as the rotation is the same as it is now.
