Anyone know the guy or shop that was making the front fill panel on the model A roof to use a 32-roof insert?? [email protected] Thanks Bill
Somebody did knock out a few of those but I can’t remember who…kept the stock visor and windshield but made the roof insert more ‘32 like. i wanted to say Cornfield, but I can’t find it…
It was Flop. But he hasn’t been around in a while… https://www.instagram.com/p/B4VxdDfHeAL/?utm_source=ig_web_button_share_sheet
Thats cool, I don't do as much on IG. I was thinking the whole 32 header, not just a filler. Sure wish guys like @Flop would start posting again. Ryan may be cool with the attrition but I don't care for it.
IIRC there was a post stating Flop had moved or was in the middle of rebuilding a house, something like that. Surely someone on here has more info. Great craftsman, hope he returns here.
I talked to Flop several months ago. He said that he has been out of the car scene and fabrication business for years now. He had no remaining inventory when he closed up shop and said he has simply moved on to other life and business ventures.
Understandable. Other than Bonneville I have not been building much as well. The hot rod business is an easy one to burn out on.
