do you have any pics of the intake you posted the pic of without the plate on? or could you describe a bit of how it was machined, was there some weld build up between the carb bases or was it just machined flat to open up the whole plenum?

Cool looking motor. We'd like to see that run at the West Coast Y-Block Shootout at Barona drag strip June 15th this year.

He lives right here in Alberta near me and there is no way I would give him that title. No way whatsoever.

I talked to him once about building a strong street Y Block and the prices he quoted me were insane.
I felt like asking him if the parts were all going to be gold plated or titanium.
Not to mention the high machining cost.

In any case he may know his Y blocks and make decent parts but there are other guys I would give that title to, a couple of whom post regularly right here on the HAMB.

  19. A roots blown Y is on my bucket list. There was a 3-71 Crager setup on here for sale not to long ago. Bitchen. I'll see if I saved the pictures.

Yup, you could partially argue that order however;)

But Ted is at the top of that list either way:D

I lent a hand to a buddy that put a 4-71 on a 292 in his '55 Ford last year. A way cool motor even cooler with a lung on top! Not sure if I have a pic or not.

  22. I like that order just fine. I call Ted and John for advice all the time. ;)

  23. Found it. So cool!
