Looking For Information and Maybe Share Something

I'm looking for information on restoring a couple old cars. In this case I'm still planning to keep them original or nearly so. Most things I can't leave alone so there is always some custom work introduced.

The H.A.M.B. seems to be the closest place to learn what I want and maybe share some thoughts with others.

My first restoration project is a 1948 Pontiac that I've owned for 55 years with it neglected outside mostly in Montana. I think it's about time to do the restoration.

Later I hope to work on a car my age, a 1942 Dodge.
