49-52 chevy front arm rest are pretty compact, might look at those. I have a few pair if'n you end up wanting a pair?

Best I can do since I'm stuck working in the office. Nice little stainless strip runs around it.

 

Just roll the window down and use the top of the door..

 

Call me crazy but I think 55 chevy door pulls would look good.
