What's a flathead............ it is like a knuckle head

    old slow and lumpy

  9. I'm probably beating this death, 65 Corvair bumper, same angle as the top grill bar, a nice little peak in the center, a little grinding to the parts that wrap around the parking light area and some f100 teeth in the license plate area.

Here is a photochop animation on my 52.

That one low springs did is beautiful.
It's simple and fits in the opening well.
It's the right distance in and out, and the ends fit within the radius of the opening well.

I like it almost as much as a stock '53 Ford grill. ;)
To me, the '53 Ford grill is the best looking grill Ford ever made, next favorite is the '60 Merc grill. (Yea, a Merc IS a Ford..) but that won't fit many pre-'59 cars very well..

Cool, I really like how that car is evolving.

At first, I thought "He isn't doing anything with that car." But now I really like the restraint.

You don't see to many post-50 Fords with a flathead in em either.

    Nice job on the grill!

Tell him Phil from the B. Bombers says hi.

Here's my '53, with the ever popular '52 DeSoto grille in it. I realize it's an incredibly shitty picture, just pulled it from the weeds and put it in the shop for a brake job when the pic was taken, but you get the idea. I've got a Desoto bumper (54) to go on the front now, I never liked the '53 bumper.

You got it Fiddy, I did that chop when I was 15, no bullshit, so up close it has some obvious flaws, but nothing I can't fix the next time around. Those wheels are long gone, but I thought it looked cool at the time. I really need to drive this thing more, it's my first car.

I've got another pic from the side, I'll see if I can find it.
