Hot Rods Looking for Antenna Recommendations

I'd like to find a period-looking replacement antenna for my 65' pickup and am radio. It's a mostly top mount stainless antenna but but does have a base that adjusts to fit the radius of the fender between the vertical and horizontal surfaces. The current antenna is roughly 21" (compressed height) and extends from there by telescoping sections. What I'd like to find is a shorter antenna in the compressed or non-extended length. I like the automatic electric antennas and those that are flush and then unlock by a key but I can't accommodate the 12" or so of antenna length that has to drop inside the fender.
