Looking for a 60's SoCal racer

For you SoCal racers -

Do any of you know what happened to a guy, Jimmy Warnock ?
He ran a bright red 62 Impala, 409 in the Stock classes, had his name painted in bright yellow across the side of the car. Mostly Irwindale, but Long Beach, Bakersfield and a few out of town races. He was friends with all of the Covina, Glendora, San Dimas, ect. race crowd.

Just wondering what happend to him. He bought the Chevy from my dad in late 64 and was a fairly long time friend till his turn at Vietnam came along.
I've heard several stories from there on.

As for the car, in the early 70's I saw it in a Glendale gas station, then it moved to a house near the Glendale Gallaria. The guys that day at the gas station didn't know the current owner. I never found anyone to answer the door when it was in the street in Glendale.
