Hot Rods Looking for 1940 Willys Pickup Door, what years will work???

Looking for 1940 Willys Pickup Door - driver side.

What years of pickup will work? Any chance sedan doors could be converted?

Sedan doors will work. You will need to round the top of the door as the sedan is square. Minor differences between the doors. Namely the lower inner. I believe 37-40 has beads and the 41-42 are smooth.

Thank you! Do you know what years the truck doors are the same as 1940? Any ideas on finding truck or sedan doors?

 

37-40 are the same. I believe there was some sedan front doors for sale in the parts section within the last 8 months or so. May check there

Different in the door handle area too, 37 to 40 had round escutcheon plates 41 to 42 had more teardrop/oval shape, doors are stamped to suit. 1st photo earlier handle, second photo 41/42 style door. Sedan door will work. What part of the country are you from? I know a few Willys guys up here in the Northwest.

 

Sedan doors will work as stated above...you just have to round off the 90-degree door corner ( not hard to do)
Door handles will fit, 37-40...but '40 handle does have a bit different design to the handle face itself.
'41's-'42 mount in a completely different shape hole in the door. Picture shows door off a sedan.g-willys

 

PDX as 32 fenderless and G-Willys stated sedan door work. I had a lot of that stuff but have been selling it off and the last I have is tentatively sold pending this virus restrictions.
