Lookin for pics of bagged 49-54 chevys with stock suspension

    I have a 52 business coupe thats notched and bagged in hte rear but has the stock front end, I plan on bagging the front and am having a hard time finding reference pics

    I have bagged the stock setup, and i think it would be worth more to just swap front ends with a mustang II and convert to an open driveline for the rear. that torque tube is a bitch, but i do like my 3 speed column shift. I just dont know anymore...

    I kind of like the torque tube rear end, but it also hasn't had any problems yet. the trouble I would have with doing an open drive conversion is the cash money end of it.

    keep an eye on craigslist, you can find a whole 283 motor and trans for under $500 and rear ends are dime a dozen. you will run into torque tube binding issues if you go too low.

    I can already law the back cross member on the ground, so far its been alright

  12. What are you guys doing for shocks? I've been told you can shorten the bolts and spacers on the sway bar and get away without the shocks. Any thoughts?
