    Look what I just got!!!!

It wasn't cheap but it has to be one of the nicest 1934 Fords I have ever seen! The car has never been molested it is a bone stock original!!!

I've know about the car for years and the older guy that had it sold it last winter without me knowing about it... I checked with the the guy who got it a couple of days after he bought it to see it he would sell it... He said "NO, IT'S NOT FOR SALE!" and "I'm gonna keep this one for ever!" Damn!

Now 9 months later (this weekend) local car show in town, the man who owns the car and also has a bitchin 37 Lincoln Zephyr Coupe that he is just finishing up, is having a picnic for a select few of the hot rodders... and I'm invited. I get there and he is pricing this 34 to a couple of guys... they walked away... thinking VERY Hard about it. I said HEY! HEY! HEY! what about me... he said here's the price you want you can have it!

I scratched my head and I thought really hard... the next morning I told him I would take it and wrote him a deposit check... and would have the cash for him the next day when the bank opened.

No kidding not even 5 minutes after the deed was done! His phone rang! One of the other guys he told the night before... said I want the car! Then the my guy just laughed and said you about 5 minutes to late! All I heard come out of his phone was "SON OF A BITCH!"

For once the Gods were smiling on me!!!
Man I got a smile so big my cheeks are hurting!!!!

I'm torn now... I'm thinking just a 3" drop axle, juice brakes, and a nice little flatty with all the goodies!

Then just have some fun.. all the while saying "LOOKIE what I got!!!!"

    I know, I know... it's a fordor... but it's still a 34 ford!!!!

The story isn't all happy though... now I have to sell my 1928 Model A Roadster... it's a bitchin lil' highboy with a little V8 60, dual 81's, finned heads, model a quickchange, everything is NOS its a real traditional hot rod with all of the goodies!!! looks like it is straight out of 1949.

if anyone is interested PM me of call me 573-406-7573

Let me know what you think....

    Thanks Randy aka modelamac

Nice score and I really like '33/'34 Fordors - much more than tudors. Now you're gonna have to change your HAMB handle!

  18. Some guys have all the luck. Great score.

    Perfect plan of attack!
Just what a 20something rodder in the 50's may have done to Hot Rod his "family car".

I'm just adding some photos of my roadster... it's going up For Sale!

you have to look at the car...
it's not cheap, but it is cheap for what it is... I hope that makes sense?

I would like to get somewhere around $21,000. for it...
the car does needs to be finished.

the chassis is DONE... everything on the car is New or Rebuilt I mean everything.

when I say cheap paid $4,000 for the engine, it has over a $1,000 worth of new rebuilt polished 81 strombergs, finned edelbrock heads and intake $1500.
the quickchange is all new rebuilt I've turned $4,000 down for it.
all nos 40 ford brakes that was good for about $1,200. new coker big and little tires 0 miles on 16" ford wire wheels $1,200 new aluminum radiator $850... new posie springs, new pete n jake front end that was about $3000, etc...

the body needs to be done I just got all new brookville doors rumble lid $1,600 plus it has new brookville floors panel under the deck lid, nice fire wall all 1937 ford gauges, banjo wheel offy light stands 39 tail lights the list goes on.... I have almost everything to finish the car you will just need a few little items.

It' a little bit of a project but I think you could actually finish the car in a couple of months worth of evenings... I know I have around $25,000 in it... but I just have to sell it so I can pay for this new one... call me if you have questions I can tell you about it better that I can type.... or hell just call me anyway, I like to talk to people haha!

    thanks Randy

Hey Randy maybe you can persuade Chuck to buy that roadster and give it to me. It would make a cool graduation present (college). LOL Love to have it.
Read about the 4 door and got worried it was about one I know about sitting in a garage. Guess not, thank god.
