    Oh man that is so cool. I had the same thing happen walking on a path along a irrigation creek ditch.Mine was a 50 merc,only one side showed with merc hubcaps still on it.

    Back in the 70's a friend of mine literally stumbled over a Model A windshield post sticking out of the ground a couple inches, it was hidden in the weeds in a creek bed. He went to dig it up, found a whole 29 roadster still attached to it. Luckily our creek beds are are dry 99% of the time so it really wasn't that rusty, he dug the car up, built it and he's still driving it today.

    Some of those pictures really hurt, seeing all that good iron rotting on the riverbanks.

    It doesn't look like it was just uncovered in the last few days of rain, though.

    What you guys won't believe is the amount of rock, shrub, poison ivy, cliffs, etc you would have to cross to get to it (not to mention nazi park rangers.) I think this cadi is safe (at least from me)!

  6. This Olds was being used as an erosion stop on Page Mill Road above Los Altos CA back in the late 60s. Went back to look for it a couple years ago and it was either removed or covered over.
