Customs Look What I Got Today!!!

I've been talking to a guy about this stuff for a little while now & I finally got to go check it out, buy it, & bring it home. You should see what this guy has on his property. It was a fun day.

That guy's livin' the life, out there in the wilderness tinkering with all of his stuff, "The Man" not telling him what he can or can't do. Nice.

There's actual trees there (rare in So Cal), did you go up to Big Bear, or some mountain to find that guy?

Great load of stuff. Are you thinking about rebuilding a flathead and an AV8 conversion on your new Model A down the line?

Yeah. I went up to big bear to get this stuff. Guys got a gold mine. I could have spent a week up there looking at everything he has. Also a very cool guy to hang out with. Yes I plan on doing an AV8 with my model A down the road.

I dunno some kind of Blasphemy hauling those ford mills home in the back of a chevy truck. Get them out of there a quick as possible!

Ha ha ha ha ha. That's hilarious. It's my 1957 GMC. Really fun truck. I had to take it slow down the mountain. All that weight in the back was heating up my brakes pretty quick. I had to pull over & poor some Pepsi (only liquid I had) on the break drums to cool them once because I was starting to get brake loss. After that, low gear 25-30 mph with lots of brake stabbing all the way down. Besides that it was a really fun/chill trip. Nothing like taking in the great scenery in a classic vehicle. My 4 y/o son loves it & wants me to take him everywhere in it.
