dont have the money, knowledge or skill to make something look like that... so you know its not mine... i'm a vw guy.. just got my first 50 chevy.

you guys are right about the grill and the lights (both front and rear). i think for the frame, he just flipped the frame horns over and boxed them in with diamond plate. he also has disc brakes on the rear that are actuated by a mechanical lever conveniently located between his legs while in the driver seat. has rear air bags. the radiator is all the way in the back with an electric fan on it. the wheels are custom made 21" i think... the inline 8 he got from his 48 buick convertible... which btw has the historical vehicle plates. he chopped and bagged that guy... interesting fella though. i told him that not all would appreciate his hard work but i like it a lot. it looks like he put a lot of time and effort into that guy.

Again interesting choice for grill and lights, but scary front end set-up and hodge podge looking workmanship.

All you need is vision,,and take a chance,,mess with some ideas,,lotta great stuff was just lucky accidents :D

Well in the grille,,not sure thats all high end stuff,,easy enough to find,,like with anything ,,you can have great $$ parts and still put something together that looks like ass ya know. I Think he did good there,,and if he's have kept with it ,,could have built a much nicer car.

  5. Innovative, sure but it looks like the inbred third cousin of some early '60s customized show car.

(remember the AMT '32 Ford tudor customizing kit with the Edsel grille and quad lights?)

  6. Thanks, I just threw up a little and now have to clean the keyboard.

there is some I like (the grille and headlights) and some I don't (the open roof and the way too low stance)

Overall I think he tried too hard

  9. If thats what we have come to as builders I'm going to start Hot Rodding Kia and Hyundai from now on.

Keep the body and toss the rest

  10. Shock value fabrication is showing up everywhere in jalopies, hotrods, and r--rods. These builds are sure something different to look at. Yet SAFETY, should always be incorporated into those wild-ars ideas used when building front or rear suspension systems!

This is like those shock films you used to see in driver's ed in highschool. This is what COULD happen..... :O

In a way, I like it though. But I'll be better when my meds kick in....

  20. That front end will fail and someone will get hurt or die in the process. What is a front spreader bar in diameter?

How does someone build that, stand back, and say "oh yeah that's the shit right there"? I can't believe most of you are critiquing the stance or length of the front end when it's gonna just snap off.

  25. Gives a whole new meaning to te term "suicide front end." Somebody's gonna get a Darwin Award with this thing. I'd be afraid to drive it or ride in it with that front end setup.

P.S. if it were mine, about the only thing I'd change,
is that "665" number on the side. It really should be
    "666"! <LOL> :D:D
