ive had my 41 chevy for about 7 years and ive done a lot of work on it but havent finished yet.so one of my friends 2 blocks away in south central l.a. calls me up and tells me hes selling his model a.ive told him not to get rid of the car without telling me first.so we talked back and forth and hes always liked my car and we made a deal.straight up trade .what do you guys think?doesnt really matter cuz im really happy
the guy says it was chopped in the 50s but i dont know how much i believe him.dont have any history ,but if i looks familiar to anyone out there ant help would be greatly appreciated.i want to see if i find anything out before i start changing it too much.
Yeah what the heck is that? Looks kinda like a stewart warner but cast. Nice gauges too...32' Speedo and a pretty rare gas gauge. John
I told you Andy! Getting rid of the '41 for this was a way better deal for you. Put up pictures of the suspension and gear box. I'm pretty sure some one here on the HAMb can verify that they might be stock modified.
good job bro! you can still find old chevies pretty cheap, but an old hot rod! thats pretty cool, and a 5 window coupe no less... I liked the 41, but I think you got the better end of the deal too. Way better than watching the super bowl...
Now that the friggin patina rules, no messin with that, get a drive train in that baby and drive the wheels off it!! Good Score!! Make it happen-Sololobo
