History Longview Three-Window

  1. I would occasionally make it to Longview where my girlfriend's dad lived. I never saw that coupe. I was driving this '64

    The build style of that deuce coupe and the close proximity of Scappoose to Clatskanie and Longview/Kelso has me thinking there is a good chance that it has some history at Scappoose Dragstrip, I think it closed around 1959 and curious if you ever went there.

    Gene Cope owned it and and grocery store in Clatskanie,Ore. a small town WEST down the Columbia River towards the Pacific Ocean.

    I saw it at Silver creek RR in the ‘70’s. Was yellow.
