Longview Racing Bowl , Longview Texas

I used to go there back in 1967 on Saturday nights. Is there any vintage racing activity in Texas or does anybody remember those great six cylinder Super Modifieds that ran there. I never saw anything like it...40 ft. high rooster tails of every car, High banked turns with no guardrails, into the woods if you went over the top, I know there was a circuit that included Tyler, Devils Bowl & Longview. Loved it!
