then you like c15 look at your registration, (if it never droped off) it should say c15 a c10 is a short bed and a c15 is a long bed, the only reason it may say c10 is if it droped out of the system of the bmv and had to be redone they actually ask what model it is thats why they end up C-10 but yes it is a c15 long bed wether it be a stepside or a flushside
i didnt know that we just call it a 1966 chevy c10. we bought it from an old ldy for 250 bucks and drove it hime but her husband had died so it may have to do with it having to be re registered.
To me, it's like the difference between a 2dr and a 4dr. Sure, there's some nice 4dr cars, but a 2dr ALWAYS looks better. Just my 2 cents. Rich
Agreed. Personally I think long beds look out of proportion, with the exception of maybe a quad-cab? Longs are for work, shorts are for play. Thats not to say Ive seen a few sweet work trucks before though...
I prefer shortbeds. But I do like the look of a radical longbed, either slammed on air bags or a jacked up 4x4.
I say it depends on what you are going to do with it and which year/brand of truck it is. I like em all. stock or original long or short doesn't matter... HOT RODs I'd lean more towards short. I always like seeing the earlier 3/4 ton or larger truck with a bed rather than a flatbed. longer the better.
On old trucks I prefer short beds. if it is something new (OT) and used for towing and hauling parts I want a long bed.
I like a long bed so my feet don't hang over the end. for pickups I like shortbeds unless I need to haul stuff
i looked it up yeterday the c15 is real but i dont know the difference except one is a big ass truck made in canada. the c10 is half ton the c20 is three quarter ton and the c30 has a long as hell bed (in the 60's) so unless you have a big ass canadian truck your truck is exactly the same as a c10.
A shop truck or a daily should be a longbed just because it's more useful. For a trail truck or a rod, SWB all the way.
