Greetings all, I figured after visiting the board a lot and buying stuff for years I ought to start posting. I've been car crazy all my life and been messing with em for about forty years, quit counting years ago after I got past 100 cars, bikes and trucks. I've done many jobs, construction, drafting, machinework, moldmaking and auto parts business when it was all paper catalogs and high tech was three phone lines. I love both the mechanics and styling of old machinery and the fixing and modifying of it I can appreciate the quality of work done on recent hot rods customs and street rods but I think that most of them transplant too much of the current auto technology and styling into old cars so that you're not driving a time machine, something that gives you the exprience of what it was . Instead you end up with a modern car with "retro" style. Well, enough soap box. Currently drive around a stock riviera and going to start on a Chevy fat fender coupe soon. See ya on the road.
