Jeff it was great meeting you too. A bit of serendipity that I also found your car too.

Grady - it was great meeting you and Austin. There will be at least one more of pic your car coming.

Mike Nicholas' double flathead truck that I will for sure see again this year. View attachment 3506914

Thanks butchcoat1969 for stopping by and all your comments. I believe someone said that engine is a Ford 4.6 L DOHC.

Here is what the car show is often like out on the west side of the grounds under and behind the trees.
I do like the 50 Chev and wish it would have been in a better place to photograph.

  20. This is a really cool photo! They all are but something about the composition and color in this photo really appeals to me.

Dan- Beautiful photos as always. You rock! Would love to enjoy another Rodders journal Reunion together as we did in Baltimore. Need to convince Conaan to try it again. Good times! Keep up the best pictures in the hobby. Bud F.

Super pics as always Dan .... thanks!

  23. I snapped a bunch of pics as well (MeatHeads / Beyersville, Mercury Charlie's... had time conflicts with the actual LSRU) but nothing like your shots.

Here are a few of mine.

You're welcome and thanks Bill (Sancho), Bud (littleblue coupe) and Tom(TomT). Bud - I'm sure everyone at this show would think your 36 and 32 rock too. Thanks for the contribution of images 23 Skidoo.

I don't know how many people go up to Top Notch during the event, but I have every year for the last 3 or 4. Their food (especially the home made fried chicken) is great and it is really fun to hang out there. Like the show itself, it is getting more popular and more crowded and harder to get what I consider a worthwhile image there. But it is still fun to go. Here are a few snapshots from Friday night after the show.
