Lone Star Round-Up or bust.........Again

all this shop talk in texas close to my house, and I am stcuk in cold New Jersey for a work project. Car looks sweet. I am planning on flying in for the round up and driving my 59 el camino down to the round up. Hope to see everyone there and meet everyone. Maybe when I am back in dallas might swing by the shop.

Like I said before..... Any and all you guys are welcome to by... we're there every Tues. nite after reg. hrs and most Saturday afternoons I put my shop address further back up this post you can mapquest it

 

What time are you guys gonna be there Sat. I'm gonna try and get off work early if I can and swing by if your gonna be there most of the day.

 

Anyone think we could set up a relay to help me get my car? I have a 1928 Essex body/frame in Bandera Texas that I really need to get up here to Vancouver Canada. Any help would be much appericiated. Come on everyone, help this young'in of 19 get his hot rod up to him!!!

Well we had some trouble Sat. with the rear axles and the week before I found out the motor I planned on was crap so ........ But the good news is we have not let those gremlins stop me ..... I got my lowered uprights(spindles) and I have a backup motor and Merc50 and I(yes he got down and dirty) put the cam and lifters in it and i have a backup rear axle ........... I WILL drive my ride to the RoundUp with a lotta help from my friends

 

Cool dude...only two months left!

 

I'll be broke ....but I'll be rollin down to Austin fo-sho

Ok, the rear axle is in, the motor and tranny mounts are done and the motor and tranny are in, engine compartment in cleaned and painted, ..... brakes and wiring are the next big items to tackle........

 

Looks great.

I did notice that Merc50 was only working with the nice, clean engine. Don't let him get dirty.
