When we rolled the ol Chevy 1 ton wrecker out of the bark last weekend. I found the drivers rear brake was lokked up. I have finally got the lug nuts where they will come off. My question is what is the best way to get the drum off without breaking it? I need to get this truck rolling, so it can be moved in and out of my shed. Thx! Wreckerman

I have a 30 Ford chassis, all four were locked when I got it.
I had to drag it a few feet to move it, that freed the fronts.
The emergency was locked on, I cut the operating bar, that freed the rears.

Some years ago I bought a 51 Merc out of a barn, the rears were locked. I dragged it about 30 feet, that freed them.

    Just throwing out some experiences....
