Technical Location of Serial #s on 55-56 Ford Frames

I know 55-57 T Birds have the frames stamped with the VIN numbers on the right side frame horn under the heater assemblys.

Are the Crown Vics and the rest of the Ford cars of 1955 and 1956 also stamped in that location with VINs ?

It's been a long time, but IIRC the frame is stamped in two places; on the passenger side main rail in front above the sway bar mount, and in the back someplace. You can't really see the rear number with the body on the frame.

 

Look at the passenger side top of the chassis, start from the back of the upper control arm.
