Folks Of Interest Local Longtime Kansas City Hot Rodder Passes at 76

    Longtime hotrodder and Kustom builder Pete Mustain passed away July 6th.Pete was as old school as they come and a legend in this area.He was a state representative of the National Street Rod Association and held various leadership positions in the American Street Rod Association over the years.I can remember seeing him driving around Olathe in one of his rods and thinking "If John Milner from American Grafitti had lived,he'd be Pete".     This is sad to read about, I met Pete a few years ago and he was about as great of a guy you could ever meet. RIP ,Pete

    My father in law Roger was good friends with Pete, he was a good man.

    Pete was as iconic as the vehicles he owned.
