Arrived kind of late and could not properly enter. Officer at the gate told me the show was full so I needed to park in any legal spot outside the show space.

Having worked downtown several years I realized I could take an alternate pathway to get on the green and ended up getting in via a back door.

Very diverse group of vehicles on display. Above are a few HAMB friendly

Crazy thing was the passenger door was suicide and driver’s door regular. Sans running boards and fender treatment pretty sweet too.

The wife grew up in Middletown on Camp St. (I think). Her sister lives there today since she was banned from California. Great pics, and sorry she's in your area, but better you than me. ;)

Worked downtown Main St. almost 20 years in a local business and got to know so many people. Very diverse town on so many dimensions and probably interacted with her.

Oh I guarantee you have. The wife worked for lawyers on Main St. years ago when she was in HS. Still tells stories of racing on the Berlin Turnpike and some crab infested dive called the Arrowanee (?) Hotel.

Hotel Arrigoni (former), 635 Main Street.

Both my brother and I were born at the other end of Main Street, and have raced on the Berlin Turnpike.

    He's still there, I'm not.

She says that's the one. She worked on the 2nd floor of the building behind (on the other side of the alley) above a roller rink(?). Said she watched the hookers and johns go in the hotel from her office window.

    • I recognise that Baron headed supercharged flathead I am sure its from down under. If its in the 36 thats a way cool over the top car with all the extras.
Great pics thanks for sharing . in the background there are a few very mundane stocking filler cars , I guess their mothers love them as a plain Jane .

We always had a had time getting in the show ,with all the traffic!
Cars were over heating etc. It was poorly run?
So we don"t go there anymore!
