These pics are so classic, they could have been taken in the 40's or 50's. sounds like a great time Evel. Thanks for the pix.

Cool, now it's a Hot Rod, before it was "just" a nice art piece.
Don't sell it, money isn't everything, btw.

Congrats. I've been in awe of the LW since I coveted it at the GNRS. Have fun driving it!

Drive it on down to Austin, TX this year - I want to see it in person!
    Great job!

  12. Evel ... very, very cool ... great to see the LW on the road ... now, keep driving that thing!

... and what's up with the "show sign" at an outdoor event? ... I realize you want to give props to everyone that helped make LW a reality ... but I can't beleive no one here on the HAMB has given you shit about the sign ... what's next? ... a turntable, mirrors, E-Z up awning, lawn chairs, & a cry-baby doll? :D

All ribbing aside ... damn fine ride! ... thanks for sharing the pics & video!

Good job Piero! Glad I got to see it at Dan's. It's a matter of time that this Hot Rod will be making the rounds in SoCal and afar! Good to know that you were able to drive around here in Ventura. When I get home today, I'll crank some Dokken "Back for the Attack" in honor of LIVË WIRË! I'm really kicking myself for missing Primer Nats. Not sure what all the Hub Bub was about in the other posts. Paint or no paint, it's nice to see Hot Rods and Customs being built with some thought and a plan. It looks like everyone had a blast which means alot!

Really good to see it out and almost done. Have some fun with it, it's been enjoyable watching the build as you go along. I hope to see it in person someday!

... and you forgot your collection of trophies displayed on a bed of angel hair! :D

wow ... that car brings new meaning to the term "circus wagon" ... that interior is (well, I'm at a loss for words) ... what a waste of a perfectly good engine.

  20. I realize you are just kidding, but I never understood why people get flak for the signs. I have found them helpful and informative when I am curious about a car and the owner is off looking at other cars, and not in a lawn chair next to his car.

Thats the Lil Dough,,, looks like that today (See MFS Volume 5) Over the top yes
but still part of our history. I love that thing.. I even got to ride in it..

Oh ya you should give Dan Collins Shit too.. He had the "Singapore Sling" sign out as well :D

Show cars are the new Rat Rods

  22. evil. you definatly have this whole hot rod thing figured out. pretty cool to see that thing ripping around the street. good job, again!

  23. okay, okay ... I'll stop ... didn't mean to start any drama on your thread ... and I definitely didn't want to insult anyone's taste in Hot Rods!

IMHO, the L.W. is a very tastefully done car ... but the Lil Dough, well let's just say it's not "my cup of tea" ... then again, our hobby would sure be boring if everyone drove chopped & channeled '32 5wd coupes painted '56 Caddy Mandan Red with a 392 Hemi!:)
