I finally got a days worth of sleep after a few weeks of getting ready for primer nats.

A few weeks ago I took the LW to Hollywood Hot Rods so Troy could help out and get it
drivable to take it to Primer Nats.. Well it took 3 weeks to get a few simple parts from
Charlie Price AkA Vintage Speed AKA we are Flaky SOB's!!!! so after 3 weeks
of sitting at Troys he wasn't able to get to it cause he had other deadlines...

fast forward to Wednesday... I pick up Dave Martinez from the airport and we go straight to
Hollywood Hot Rods and start taking apart my carbs after screwing with them for about
5 hours we get it all back together and fire it up and running good...till I drop it in gear
and it would just die...kept trying to figure it out but we were just to tired and troy had to
    close shop....

Thursday: I goto Ventura to pick up the 91 f150 I use to trailer the car and head back to Hollywood
Hot Rods to pick up the car...we ended up talking to my buddy Logan who knows his shit and told us
that it seems the carbs were getting to much fuel and that we needed to bring the idle up... we messed
with it an it worked allot better...so we loaded
LW up and head out to Ventura...Right around Thousand Oaks I notice a bunch of smoke
in the rear view...I get off the freeway and it turns out we blew a seal in the transmission
of the truck...so we pull off and of course i'm in front of every car rental place you can imagine and no one has a truck with a hitch they want to rent me...Dammit!! so I ended up walking 3 miles and found a place that had 1 left... so we ditched the f150 on a side street and we were back on the road..we got to the shop and messed with the carbs and also realized we had the distro set for a stock cam and since I put the isky cam we had to advance it and that seemed to be the ticket...I drove it up and down the street and the Hydro shifted right where it was spose to (Major Concern since day one) so back to the shop and time to detail...we spent a good 5 hours cleaning the car to get ready for the show and had to head home to get my MFS merch..we arrived at 4am..

    Friday:
We get to the fairground and John Parker gave me the choice spot right where the spectators come in..and tells me hes going to leave some room for another car to park next to me...so I told him I got the perfect car..and gave my Homie Scott call told him
we need to park together...it only makes sense... I dropped off my stuff and went back to the shop and grabbed the car. We unloaded it way far from the entrance and the parking lot was pretty empty so I got a chance to give it a little more gas and finally got enough
speed to shift into 3rd (Another major concern) it felt really good...drove it around a bit and parked it at the booth...Then we had to go back the pick up the f150 and Scotts trailer
that we borrowed is Possesed by Satan kept blowing fuses..so we got pulled over and let go after we fixed it...loaded the truck and drove the 20+ miles with the hazards on and no trailer lights AWESOME...

    Saturday:
Get there early set up and the show was fantastic!!! Both cars had people around them
all day.. it was cool seeing the old guys checking them out...so time to pack up and goto Kiwi Kevs and I just planed on leaving the car since I only drove it for a few minutes...But my buddy Rich (GreaseJunkie) was like the guy in high school trying to get me to smoke a joint "Come on Man just drive it" "Everyone is doing it" "don't be scared" So I said Screw it...and went for it:D

Holy Crap that was crazy..I never drove the car in traffic... It was awesome cruzing with my
    pals...

It still has issues but well on its way...I was a nervous wreck I lost my appatite but when
I saw that Pig... Thanks Kev for a Fantastic time!!!

So it was time to get the car back and now i'm a little bit more comfortable so Myself, Drew Rich and Bobby (Photofink) take off and it couldn't be better it was overcast, no traffic and green lights most the way..we were cruising and at that moment "I Just
realized I love hot rods.." I was hating them for a long time :D

It was worth the 17 hour drive just to see your car. It was amazing to see up close. Thanks for all the hard work to get it there for everyone to enjoy.

Congrats on bringing your baby back home. It awesome and people will be talking about that car 50 years from now. You have sealed your place in our history with a great example of what a hot rod of that era was all about. Viva La Live Wire!
