Heading out in the afternoon from CO, Lonely Knights on the road again!

 

If anybody from So Cal is leaving Thursday, we have a small caravan of cars meeting off the 15 freeway in the high desert around 10 am.. PM me for details if you want to cruise with us... see you guys there.

 

I'll be wearing my HAMBAndy tribute shirt on Saturday. Hope to meet some of you fine folk down there.

I'll be there with the Mad and the little lady. I emailed Dick Dale and his wife said he'd autograph my Fender Strat for me. How cool is that?

 

Make sure you see the Devils Daughters (pictured) in the Ballroom on Saturday night. Very good friends, and myself and another member of the BOMB SQUAD will be on stage with them for one song......Also, Whiskey Kiss playing in Bendans Friday night are not to be missed. More Phoenix Friends....

Yes I know there are cars, girls, bands, pools, shows and gambling galore, but but it's all just an excuse to enjoy the awesome vendors, right? BOMONSTER will be there handing out free stickers in our popup art/shirt/sticker gallery. Stop in, say hi to my booth girls Mel and Deb and wish us well as we start a Route 66 road trip to Austin the next day following the ACME Speed Shop Metro van.

 

Day 2 of Car Show registration/parking - which hasn't even opened up yet, and we're 2/3 full already!

WOW! how awesome! Wifey and I are about to head out the door and get on the road. Should be there early afternoon if all goes well. Hell I packed everything I could think of if there's a problem. I'm sure I'll not have the one thing I'll need if issues do pop up!

See you guys and girls soon. It'll be great to meet some of you in person on Saturday.

My son is there with the Roadmen car club from Seattle and sent these two pics to me yesterday. He's building a 54 and I'm building a 4 door Fleetline...some major inspiration here. Enjoy

Awesome show today!! Kudos to Tom and Axle and the crew...very well run event.
Ran into Bomonster...cool artwork! Saw Weesner's booth but didn't get a chance to talk to him. Met Alex Gambino and bought some goodies at his booth, ran into Steevo and friends from Alberta, and ChuckZ(?) and his wife from Arizona. Waited around the Meet & Greet area for quite awhile but didn't see anything that looked like a HAMB crowd. Oh well, I had a great time anyway! Now I have to sort through 400+ pics to re-size them before posting.

 

At the show tonight,Little Richard was awesome.I hope I can still do it at 80!

Just got back from viva and it was the biggest Viva I have been to ,and I have been going since 03. The car show was pretty good. Didn't like paying $35 to get in, that's more than a goodguys show. But the atmosphere etc was great I had a blast and will be going again next year

I only saw one HAMB shirt the entire day.
I was going to wear my HAMBAndy shirt but ended up wearing my white North of 49 Bonneville crew shirt instead.
It was easy spotting fellow Canadians at the show...most of us were burnt to a crisp!
