I have a 317 truck engine and a 368 car engine. The good things about the truck is the rear sump pan and pickup and the 3.5 inch stroke crank as I need to be under 372 inches to make class and the 368 is +.040 already.

Don't forget the 279 Ford truck engine! That is part of the Lincoln/Big Furd truck Y blocks.

They are cool engines. I am going to be putting my 368 and dual range hydro in my 57 F-100 push truck one of these days.

If I keep it, my 53 Merc will get a Lincoln 317 and dual range hydro. This one will be interesting, might need that Furd truck oil pan and pickup. The Merc has a weird crossmember and will be close fit .
