Customs Lincoln emblems - foxcraft maybe ?

I found these cool Lincoln knight emblems that I am going to add to the fenders of the 56.... they are plated bronze.
No idea where they came from, but they say “fox” in tiny letters inside. Anyone ever seen these ?

49-5? Lincoln. Earlier versions were some kind of ceramic coated red and blue and white. I bought one of those off of eBay as I had one missing off my 47, turned out it was larger than the earlier ones. I was going to use it anyway but finally got a correct one, so I may use the larger one on a console or something.

 

They look like the crests on 49-50 wheel covers...except plated

 

I think Fox is the company that made them for Lincoln.

 

Really ? That’s interesting... when I saw the fox I thought maybe they were a foxcraft skirt ornament or something. I was surprised when I got them that they are plated brass.

I think they will look cool / period on the 56.

I was told by a friend that a company called Fox made emblems for Ford.

 

What X38 said.....I'm with him....hub caps ?

 

That would be my best guess too.

Some of the blue Ford porcelain ovals were made by Fox.
