SOLD!!! Front end from a 40's Lincoln for sale. These are the deep dish backing plates, which set the spindle closer to the tire centerline and make steering easier. Backing plates have a smaller bolt pattern than ford round spindle, was told it might be the same as '36 ford spindles(to use on a Ford axle), or you could use the whole lincoln setup. Backing plates are bare with no hardware, and everything is as is in need of rebuilding. The axle has 2 1/4 inch wishbone bosses(like model A). No major pitting on any of the parts mostly just surface rust. Asking $350 for backing plates only $500 for backing plates, spindles, and axle $150 for drums (one is great, other should be turnable) Thanks, Joe
