I have installed a set of Wilson Welding Lincoln style brakes on my '27 roadster, which had 1939 ford brakes. So basically done, but I can't find brake hoses to fit. They must be about 18" long, with 7/16-20 thread on the brake line end, and 3/8-24 inverted male flare on the cylinder end. Anybody out there done this and know what hose works?

Did you look at Summits web site? You can select hose and fitting sizes to figure out what you need.

I installed real 1941 Lincoln brakes on my 1927 roadster and yes the brake hoses are indeed longer. There is only one place to go for brake hoses and that is Brake Hoses Unlimited in Holland Michigan (616) - 836-7885. The hoses you are looking for are quite probably in stock right now, and if not a custom set of hoses can be made up for you. Excellent quality product and great people to deal with.

  6. Usually i just have hoses made at the local Clutch and brake rebuilder

  7. If you using a 1/4" brake line (aftermarket), I think the nut is 7/16"-24. The 7/16"-20 is the stock Ford wheel cylinder that uses a crush ring. 3/16" brake line uses a 3/8"-24 nut. 1/4" brake line is a pain just because of the ends (fittings) and trying to match them up to different or newer things......I had to make my own fitting for a newer master on my '47.

    Wagner catalog:
    F79367 15 1/2" long.
    F57792 17 1/8" long.
    F71333 24 1/2" long

NO NO NO Stay Away from that place!!! That has to be the worst place in America. I use 53-56 F100 brake hoses for the Lincoln brakes on my avatar
