I saw some interesting and HAMB-friendly stuff at the vintage sport car races at Limerock this weekend. The sound of the pre-war Alfa's straight eights was music to the ears! Look closely at the Healey 100's grill badge. (It hints at what's under the hood). Several cool "specials" were racing, as well as a few cycle cars. A few hot rods were present for the show too. Here's some pics.
Sorry to report an oldtimer died after crashing his vintage race car from local news. http://www.nbcconnecticut.com/news/...igate-Fatal-Crash-in-Salisbury-273343231.html http://www.courant.com/news/connect...c-festival-car-crash-20140830,0,3026941.story
Lots of awesome cars there. The Glickenhaus P3/4 Ferrari is amazing....and he DROVE it there! A $30million+ car driven as a weekend driver....gotta love that guy! The Plymouth XNR is a very cool car. I took a bunch of pictures before the mob of folks surrounded it. If George Jetson were real, that would be his ride!
