Gratiot Auto also had a '32, "shop truck", with a dual-quad, 4-speed, nailhead in it,...I don't know if it was used for the push truck for the 'Lil Billy car tho...my buddy has the truck's motor/trans...

I was told that the black Gratiot car is not the same as the orange Speed Sport Roadster.

I will just say that they have a similar shape, similar nose, front suspension also looks similar, but the SS roadster is powered by a blown 392 Hemi. :D

At least this is a few more pics of some cool T roadsters! :)

  13. Gotgas,
your are right, there is a whole bunch of similar items on both cars almost too much similarity to be coincidental. I wonder, being that, Lil Billy has not been located and the Speed Sport car has returned, are they one and the same?
I looked at the Speed Sport/HAMB threads, some of the pics have been deleted and the info seems sketchy.
Was there another thread about the Speed Sport car that, covers its return and resto?

I don't know for certain, but I believe the Speed Sport car has never left it's original owners hands. Maybe some of the Tucson boys can elaborate on this deal. Also, I believe the Speed Sport car predates the 'Lil Billy car by a couple of years as well.
