Don't use them myself, it is nice to get them off and on but I'd rather get one personal comment returned once in a while, hell, you don't even have to agree with me, but put out some effort. I still don't get that whole process of mindlessly going down the thread and hitting that button on my comments, drove me nuts seeing one guys' "like" showing up in my alert box six or eight times on the same thread, hated to do it but I finally had to use the "ignore" button.

Nothing they are still there......if you clic on the Hamber's name it's there with a number of other less important details......just kidding. To me it's an acknowledgement that I have read your post. A form of respect as well...I may agree or not and further to my like may in fact be a response.
