Seeing that couple laying in that Nash and then those guys at the drive-in reminds me of my days of going to the drive-in when they had "spotters" riding around on bicycles looking for fogged up windows etc.

That scooter made from a 2X4, some steel skates and a wooden crate was pretty cool in it's day.
The first skate boards, even before you could buy one, were those same steel skates screwed to a 1X4 or 1X6 (the skates that strapped around your ankle and used a key to clamp to the soles of your shoes...

Does anyone else remember what it was like to have one of those skates come off your shoe?... Or get your pant leg in the sprocket of your bicycle?

Some real dumbshits there on the Shopsmith(?). No guards over the drive belt and pulleys. The little girl spraying her wagon without a mask (oil based paint in those days). The moron on the saw with no fence aching for a kickback if he doesn't get his sleeve in the blade or both. What do you do with the buffer, push the Shopsmith around the car or keep moving the car around the Shopsmith?

We've come a long way baby.
