    Any idea what the thing on the running board is?

    Makes me think of a oiling system with the small lever on top and the tube going through the running board then going back up under the frame.

    The Albert Menasco links were very interesting. This ties together the postings here in the past about the Midget cars and the VonDutch Henderson Wing.

    The Wing story is pretty cool.the current owners choosing a recommissioning rather than a nut and bolt restoration.stripping the sheetmetal down to the first layer of black paint with razor blades.Now she runs well and doesn't look like a worn,clapped out circus ride.

    I haven't seen one of those with covered rockers and valve springs. Did they just do that on the singles?
