Has anyone heard of the Rapida (or Rapido)? I saw this one for sale on ebay and it looks like it could be a cycle car judging by the wheels, although it's described as a micro-car and a prototype, so I've no idea if it ever made production. Looks kind of like a baby '49 Studebaker that got punched in the nose ... It's in Portugal. I have no connection with the owner and no interest in the car.

I asked about that and he said "This car would have a one or two cylinder engine. Ebay's glitchy." So either he hasn't looked underneath the hood or it doesn't actually have an engine. Since he seems to be in the states and the car in Portugal I'd guess he hasn't actually seen under the hood.

So how anything of Christie's appears here is beyond me; more in common with tanks ...

You'll have to admit that the Christie car posted is rather small....no matter what else Walter built.

    Is a Brescia ok?

Bob isn't that one car marked 47 a Piccard-Pictet and not a Bugatti

I like Brescias.I think they fit rather well here. There are some purists who think they do not.Post them if you want...I hope there aren't any of those poor, troubled souls who would make it their duty to report a post like that to moderator on this thread.

Here it is from the front. I believe there's a video of it on YouTube at Prescott in 2010 and I'm pretty sure Stefan Marjoram did a sketch of it as well. BTW love all these pics you keep posting.
