    The above thread shows the construction of the shifter... it was fabricated using a section of a 36 Ford Swan since I wanted the factory gradual taper... info starts on pg 7 with more detail on pg 8...

    5 speed Clark with PTO (old fire truck) with a White direct/over/under.....

    Love the old pistol grip. I adapted one of those to a 4 speed muncie that I put in a Chejy truck, all it took was a bit of fab on the mount. Love those old shifters in a MOPAR or about anything else you want to put it in.

    Love those old beer tap shifters! I have the design down for my stick already, just need to get the demensions together and then find an appropriate shift knob that will look like it fits in a bombay ivory/commercial red Cameo...

    Mine's sitting on my tool box...
    It's chrome plated and has HURST stamped on it on both sides... :cool:

    Yep...'71 B-body non-console car.....
    It will get some acrylic grips to replace the wood grain....
    Will need a '70 Pistol Grip for my '68 now....:)

    Ha ha ha. Jeez Beener, that looks IDENTICAL to the interior of the truck my kid brother had when I was in my twenties. Had a 3 speed a 283 with camel-bumps and a .505 erson solid, wouldn't pull a fat girl off a tri-cycle. :rolleyes:

    hang on, his didnt have the fancy cup-holder or the dyna-mat.
