  1. [IMG]Dont be fooled by the good lighting- there's plenty of rust and cancer the previous owner painted over! Anyone want to donate rockers?

Now that is a damn tough looking 56. That just screams 'hot rod'. I reckon the easiest way to fill your shirt with broken ribs would have been to mince up to this cat in your flamed shorts and perfectly coiffed hair with your perfectly coloured and positioned Sailor Jerry tattoos and comment on his "really cool old school patina'd traditional bitchin' gasser lost in the 50's shoebox".

    They'd never find your body.....

guess I'll post a few of mine.. the first 57' is all original numbers 265 v8 car 210 delray...still in the original black paint too. yes it will get restored, but for now its tucked away in the back of my barn...all covered up for a long nap. The blue 57' is my current driver/project, 20yr paint still holding together well, just needs some minor freshing up. the 55' gasser was sold to a fellow member and is now almost done and 100% killer! the primer 57' was also sold to a fellow hamber, and then to yet another fellow hamber.. that was my first tri-5 and was my first real build. many memories where made with that car..

Primer and/or patina looks cool, whether the old timers choose to admit it or not. Mine is kinda patina now, been running in Dp90 for the last 6 or 7 years.

  26. Well I thank ya kindly Dog Dish. DO NOT PAINT YOUR CAR. I love your grille. I'm also building a '57 Nomad that will NOT see the inside of a spray booth as long as I own it. Where did you get your grille?

sorry man but that patina looks cool is bullshi-.it looks like someone either is to lazy to paint thier car or no money.ran one with primer for a couple yrs, until i had time to paint it.

  28. Well OUTLAW the majority says it is and Patina is a seasoned look. Only time can produce it. Can't be duplicated. It's original. Like custom paint only one car has it. Seasoned from miles on the road. Aged to perfection in a field, a backyard, a barn.
I'll never paint a car again if I don't have to. I drive an unrestored 1972 Corvette everyday that I will not paint and ya know, I get more compliments on my car then a restored one parked next to me. That has happened and I love it.
So you go ahead and paint your cars OUTLAW and join the Gold Chainers. We're the real OUTLAWS heheh.
