I did a search, and didn't see a thread about custom cars running steelies... So let's see some pics of your 50's rides with them... Whether you're running hubcaps, spider caps, trim rings or painted with some chrome bullet lugs! I'm getting ready to paint some OEM Steel Rims with wide whites for my 1953 Chevy and looking for some inspiration and color ideas! Thanks in advance!
Does a 1962 F-100 with steelies count ? If so next I need to learn how to post pictures again, it's been a long time since I posted here... Sent from my SM-N900T using Tapatalk
Yes seriously... No need to get your panties in a bunch... Keep the Jackass comments to yourself... Like HDOnly Bob stated... I said "Custom Cars" and not "Hot Rods" For inspiration... But apparently you don't know what that means... I'm Pretty sure 99% of the cars on this site aren't 50's customs, like I stated in my original post... But thanks for your useless input.
Of course! I love a good set of Chromies! Looking good man! Thanks for posting! Keep the pics coming Everyone!!!
You've already got some Chrome Steelies pics but I thought I'd throw my set in as well................andyd
I can see there is a wide interpretation of Custom but we all know what Steel Wheels are. I think I'm safe when it comes to the Wheel part. The Wizzard
Haha good one man. Yeah, there's plenty of customs that run Mag wheels, Astros, cragars etc... depends what era you're looking for. I'm just curious to see what color steel wheels guys are running based on what color they painted their car. Looking for some inspiration pics for when I paint my car.
100% of the cars on this site have round wheels too a lot of us cover our steel wheels with hubcaps and never get to show off the steels. Don't be a keyboard hero, if you have nothing good to say, nobody is asking for your opinion. I'll play along.....some are from my archives
I like full wheel covers.. Steel wheels with full hub caps.. Nobody runs full wheel covers anymore and there are 1,000's of cool ones out there....
