I did a search, and didn't see a thread about custom cars running steelies... So let's see some pics of your 50's rides with them... Whether you're running hubcaps, spider caps, trim rings or painted with some chrome bullet lugs! I'm getting ready to paint some OEM Steel Rims with wide whites for my 1953 Chevy and looking for some inspiration and color ideas! Thanks in advance!

Seriously? 99% of the cars on this site have steel wheels.

Yes seriously... No need to get your panties in a bunch... Keep the Jackass comments to yourself... Like HDOnly Bob stated... I said "Custom Cars" and not "Hot Rods" For inspiration... But apparently you don't know what that means... I'm Pretty sure 99% of the cars on this site aren't 50's customs, like I stated in my original post... But thanks for your useless input.

  16. I can see there is a wide interpretation of Custom but we all know what Steel Wheels are. I think I'm safe when it comes to the Wheel part.

Hood and trunk emblems are shaved so it must be a custom. IMG_20140903_193226.jpg

Haha good one man. Yeah, there's plenty of customs that run Mag wheels, Astros, cragars etc... depends what era you're looking for. I'm just curious to see what color steel wheels guys are running based on what color they painted their car. Looking for some inspiration pics for when I paint my car.

100% of the cars on this site have round wheels too ;) a lot of us cover our steel wheels with hubcaps and never get to show off the steels. Don't be a keyboard hero, if you have nothing good to say, nobody is asking for your opinion. I'll play along.....some are from my archives
