[IMG][/IMG][IMG][IMG]I might as well join in, but my ride is still a project and in the thought stages. I was hoping someone could do a photoshop job on my car. Since it had the lapis blue trim on the interior, I thought a satin lapis blue on the bottom would look good with either an offwhite or silver flake top. As far as wheels go, wide whites with chrome steelies is my preference. If not 51 caddy caps or any other full wheel cap is my second choice. I think the sides should be shaved except for the door opener. I could keep the stone shields and bottom trim.

If anyone wants to do the photoshop, have at it. Please lower it if you can as well......

Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.[IMG]

I've posted this before. I really need some new pictures of my car but it's still in the garage on jack stands.

Geez - I'd like to see more of this Moonglow Clone. The first thing I noticed is it even has the same license number as Duane steck's original although the hoods over the headlights are missing that were on the last iteration in the same blue color.

  10. I hate being left out. My 54, louvered hood, frenched headlights, frenched '54 Merc tailights, Pontiac split bumpers in the rear, crappy wheels the previous owner punished me with

  11. I noticed the plate too. I don't know much about it but the guy lives around here. There is a local car show on Saturday that it might be at. If it is I'll get some more pictures.

The owners name is Graham Tate, he live's in North Vancouver, B.C. He spent 11 years (I think) and a lot of money building it, just finished last year. He will probably be at the Ocean Park show on Saturday.

Mine. I've done a few mods to it since these pictures, added the hood ornaments and the grill guard as well as changing the hood ornament. It's my first car and I love it.

No abuse man, that's not half bad. Are you planning on changing it up at all?

    Her's my '50.

I rode in it as a youngster with the original owner a friend of my family's. I fixed it for him in the 60's and his widow sold it to me in 1975. It's more than my car - it's part of the family.

ya thanks, i bought it from out in front of a junk yard. it's got a '54 235 and three speed column shift. fellow HAMBer oshkoshrob said he's always wanted to chop a '51 chev so we may just do that. right away we're talking about pancaking hoods and trunks and lowering too. we'll see.

im alright, and im fixing the car, right now it looks kinda like this, but alot cleaner, and with no cross member on it.in the process of cleaning everything so i can paint it all before i put it back together. no point in throwin it back together all greasy.

Here's my '54 I got this summer. I've got lots of changes planned for when winter comes in the Great White North. It drives too well to take apart before then!
